Carrying on a Family Tradition

IMG-7826.jpg

“This is my family’s first Christmas without my grandma and it is not easy. Making some of her recipes is a way for me to honor her and bring back sweet memories. My grandma was a beautiful, loving woman who always pointed me to Jesus. Many of my favorite memories are with her. She was always in the kitchen cooking for her family. That is where my love for cooking and nourishing others began. Every Christmas, grandma would make these treats, along with several others. Once we moved back to KY, I helped her make the Surprise Cookies (AKA Chocolate Balls). She always liked help with the chocolate dipping portion because it took a little while. I hope making these treats will be a new tradition for your families and lead to lasting memories,”
