The menu is covered in fun names like Hocus Pocus and Firefly Nights, and the ladies that work the bar are full of knowledge, energy (of course), and a special warmness that is infectious. Lisa Blas is the brilliant mind and heart behind the counter and all of these magical concoctions of Firefly Nutrition, and we had to learn more about this popular new spot in town….
Retired professional ice skater Lisa and her husband Lieutenant Colonel Wayne Blas recently got stationed at Ft Knox and knew that this town truly would benefit from the positive, fun atmosphere at FireFly Nutrition and the easy to go healthy options! As you enter the door you will be greeted by incredible wellness coaches that will customize your shake and offer you a free wellness profile. Their goal is to not only serve you but make sure you understand the benefits of their products with the additional assistance of helping you reach your own personal health goals!
The Firefly Name After weeks of tossing around lots of names and coming up with nothing that I loved, I decided to just have peace with myself that the name would come to me at the right time. One evening I was in the kid’s playroom with our three little ones when I saw a little bright light out the window. Ahhhh haha!!! I stepped outside and our yard was covered in Fireflies!! At that moment, I knew it was the right name for our business!
Firefly Nutrition Defined FireFly Nutrition is the newest local spot for grabbing healthy meal replacement shakes, protein coffees, and energizing teas! We have nutritious options for all ages and tastebuds!! We have flavors like Snickers, Banana Caramel, Orange Cinnamon roll & No-Bake Cookie that are packed with 24g of protein and over 21 vitamins and minerals! Our Teas include Watermelon Cooler, Hocus Pocus, and our famous FireFly Nights! We also offer nutrition coaching to help you reach personal goals including weight loss, sports nutrition, digestive health, or simple healthy meal solutions.

I answered an online ad for nutrition and wellness coaching and walked into my first nutrition club! I immediately fell in love with the positive atmosphere and impact that we could make within our communities!

Love Where You Live Oh my! Where do I begin?? I’ve traveled since I was 17 years old…. With my skating career and then as a military family. This is the first place that feels like home…. The small-town feel, the friendly charm, and a community that welcomed us with open arms. In just a few short months, we have made lifelong friends.
Favorites One of my favorite products is a mandarin aloe that we put in a bunch of our teas. It’s so soothing to your digestive system and tastes amazing!
The Dream Our vision is to continue to impact our community in a positive way and help loads of people get healthier. Being next to the hospital has been a gift! !We are able to serve so many nurses and the staff there that work so hard. We are looking to have 5 locations like ours in Etown and are excited for Kohli’s Downtown Nutrition to open next week near the square.
