Shop Local for Your Boo(s) this Valentine's Day
Valentine’s Day is right around the corner. I mean how can you miss it, and with all the choices out there covered in hugs and kisses and pinks and reds, it can get overwhelming what to get for your loved ones. And what to get them that holds some meaning. Well, we heard you loud and clear that you want a shop local guide this year again, which I absolutely LOVE! So coming ‘atcha are a few of my favorite finds curated just for you and your sweet boo(s).

Need a great gift for your man? Look no further than the new downtown shop J. Bradley, so many fine goods for your man. And it also is just a fun place to stop in, and hey even grab a beer while you’re there.
Another favorite shop Raimant + Boon where you can find the most classic and hip (even though my teen says that this is not cool to say “hip”: any more and the word to say now is “clean”….cue the *eye roll*) clothing for your woman. Anything in this shop would make her happy, but if you’re looking for a killer candle these are still my absolute favorite in the whole wide world. I know, bold statement, but it’s true.
Another fun idea could be giving your loved one a gift of a family photo session. Maybe, it’s been a while since you all have had photos taken. It’s always a gift to me when the kids (well Evie loves it actually) and Matt suck it up for an hour once a year, get dressed up and smile for the camera. There are so many incredible photographers in town, and the session always ends of up being fun together. We always enjoy use B. Reed Photography.
Giving a bottle of wine is always a great gift, but we are so in love with what Waters Edge Winery & Bistro is doing to elevate this Valentine’s Day gift. Sunkissed Red is a fan favorite. And I think a label that reads “Better than Wine is Your Love” would just melt anyone’s heart….just sayin’.

Ok, so I think y’all may know of my obsession with Buff City Soap. Their bars and laundry soap are my go-to now, and my new favorite product whipped body butter (Blisse Barre is my current scent) is so good and melts right into your skin. Also, your boo would love anything from this place; little boos too.
Ok, so this one is not local, but I had to share it because it is by far been my kids’ favorite thing I have ever given them for Valentine’s Day and maybe any gift. They cherish these books and they now have worn corners from all the love they have been given. It’s an entire photobook just of them filled with favorite moments and memories that we have collected through photos. Artifact Uprising does a beautiful job with these little books and they make it super simple to download straight from the phone to create your book and order straight from there. You can even save books on there that you have created for the future and add to them. I am currently gathering photos to make books for our family every year since the kids were born. Wish me luck with thart project! Anyway, all to say that these little books have brough my kids so much joy and I think they will yours too. If this is too much to even consider doing now, maybe just a photo in a frame that is meaningful and would be special for them with a loving card. That sometimes can make the best gift.
