Boombozz and the Famous Potato Pizza

Boomboz recently opened in Elizabethtown and we can’t get enough of it. It’s award-winning pizza and fun scene is a regular go-to for us. It’s a great place to go for birthdays or to watch the big game. With the patio open to enjoy this gorgeous Spring weather it is a no-brainer to spend your evenning outside with a Kentucky bourbon mule and live music that fills the outdoors during the weekend.

The weirdest pizza on the menu we had to try, and it is weirdly delicious. The Pollotate Pizza won International pizza of the year and for good reason. The grilled chicken and thinly sliced rosemary potatoes make a crispy and earthy addition that is irrisistable. When you are about to bust out of your jeans it’s the flavor that lingers that makes you long for one more bite, which eventually leads to entire piece. Then topped with spicey red onions, a garlic olive oil glaze and asiago cheese the combination is ideal. Who would’ve ever thought that a potato pizza would be tasty let alone mouthwatering. Paired with a glass of wine or their refreshing mule is the perfect combination. The mule with bourbon, ginger beer and lime is the exact drink you need out on the patio as you listen to music in the warm air of the covered patio.

You should definetly be a little weird and try potatoes on a pizza, but after that the chicken, bacon, avacado is just as divine, and then if you want to be a little more normal for the evenning try the Nonna, oh and Carnitas Libra is another divine pie we recently discovered, add jalapenos for a nice kick.

If you haven’t tried out Boomboz Craft Pizza Taphouse yet, you need too. You only have one life to try potatoes on a pizza. For more check out https://boombozz.com/etown-menu/.
